"Evening Prayers" charcoal, 19" by 14"
This is the main temple in the Tibetan neighborhood just outside Kathmandu.
Every evening there is a large crowd of worshipers walking clockwise around the
temple. In this sketch, I'm trying to work out the placement of the figures for
a painting.
