This is a painting of my good friend, Richard Smith, who posed for about three hours for me at the studio of David Simpson, another friend and local gallery owner here in North Carolina. Richard is currently building the Natural World Museum of Art and was in North Carolina acquiring paintings for the Museum's collection.
